Bali is the volcanic island surrounded by coral reefs, some of the coral reefs are sourrounded by deep water channel which rise up to meet the reef shelf which with help of the ocean swells creates good surf point, the majority of surf point are concentrated mostly in south of Bali. Depending on which season you visit bali, during May until October, the winds come from the east of Bali Island and south east Bali Island, this will makes good offshore condition on west coast Bali, and then in November until April the wind usually come from west and south west of Bali Island, and its make great place for surfing in the east coast of Bali.
Bali East Coast surf points are : Ketewel, Tantu, Keramas ( Gianyar ), Turtle Island ( Serangan ) Sanur reef and Hyatt reef, Nusa Dua : – ( November – April ) – ” Natural Footers “
