The double-ikat is a woven fabric in which the threads are both the warp and the weft are tie-dyed before they are woven. The colors are taken from natural source such as kemiri nut oil is to produce eggshell-yellow, young leaves of leguminous indigofera to produce indigo blue, the red color from some roots.
